I got the inspiration for this fiber painting while driving through north eastern Wyoming in early summer. The grass was a pretty pale green, which made the red scoria of the hills really stand out. Also, the snow was still in the high hills of the background.

I used several hand dyed fabrics and also netting in the sky to give this fiber painting a 3-dimensional look. It is double matted and professionally framed. It measures 19" x 23".
